Co – President – Julie Brown
Lives on: Temperance Street
“I have been a lifelong resident of Kent (40 years!) and a resident of the Mill Creek Neighborhood for 16 years. I am wife to Greg, and mom to three wonderful kids.
Greg and I expect to be long-time residents of the Mill Creek Neighborhood, so the long-term quality of life in this neighborhood is very important to us. I hope that by being involved in our neighborhood council, I will be able to help maintain and improve the quality of life in our neighborhood, encourage more communication and familiarity amongst our residents, be a fair-minded representative of our neighborhood to others including our City government, and encourage more of our neighbors to be involved with the activities that are happening within our neighborhood.

“A resident of the Mill Creek Neighborhood for 5 years, I am a busy wife, mother to three children, owner of a small design business, and co-Blockwatch captain for our neighborhood.I am dedicated to preserving the character and improving the quality of life in our neighborhood. I believe that our neighborhood can be a safe, vibrant community that reflects both the unique quality of our historic homes and the interesting people who live here. As one of the original organizers of the Neighborhood Council, I hope to continue to assist neighbors with questions and issues, to be a representative of common interests for all our residents, and to encourage and facilitate communication and participation.”

“I think it is important for these community neighborhoods to prosper as entities and provide a valuable interface to the City for every homeowner in the Neighborhood.
